Hops Heading to Divisional Championship Thursday, October 6th , 2050 The Hillsboro Hops are on to the Divisional Championship, having knocked out the Brooklyn Cyclones 4-2. The final blow came tonight at MCU Park, where Hillsboro sealed the Round 1 with a 1-0 triumph. Manny Jurado was instrumental in the series win and was given MVP honors. Jurado hit .320 with a .393 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 1 runs. The Divisional Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
