Today, the Hillsboro Hops are the ones feeling overwhelmed with excitement, and the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes are the ones thinking about what they could have done differently. The Hops took a 6-5 victory at Volcanoes Stadium today, which gave Hillsboro a 4-1 series win. With the win, Hillsboro will advance to play in the Conference Championship. "We aren't ready to go home yet," said Hops left fielder Bobby Upton, who was named series MVP. The Conference Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Championship finishes. |
