Batavia Takes Divisional Championship in Deciding Game Tuesday, October 18th , 2050 A classic and dramatic Divisional Championship has wrapped up, with the Batavia Muckdogs outlasting the Cincinnati (NYP) Reds to advance to the Conference Championship. Batavia won the final game by a score of 7-2 and took the series 4-3. "We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Batavia center fielder Orlando Rivera, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP. Rivera hit .370 with a .452 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 4 runs.
