Kennett Selected AL Player of the Week Monday, June 6th , 2050 It was announced today that Cleveland (APP) right fielder Russ Kennett had received the American League Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .483 BA (14-for-29), 4 home runs and 11 RBIs. For the season Kennett is currently batting .419 with 14 home runs and 42 RBIs. In 28 games he has reached base at a .496 rate and scored 35 runs to date. |
