Streak Finally Over, Hanson Held Hitless Tuesday, July 12th , 2050 John Hanson went 0-for-5 at Howard Johnson Field today to break his consecutive-game hitting streak at 22 games. The 23-year-old Ogden catcher failed to get a hit today in the Raptors 10-3 victory over the Johnson City Cardinals at Howard Johnson Field. Hanson did not make himself available to reporters after the game. "I think John is a little upset," Ogden manager Willie Cardamone said. "He'll get over it." Hanson is hitting .367 this year with 14 home runs and 48 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .470, 33 walks and scored 60 times. |
