Meyer Cracks 5 Hits Wednesday, August 10th , 2050 Johnson City Cardinals first baseman Brad Meyer went ballistic today with the bat. He hammered the Miami (APP) Marlins for 5 hits and drove Johnson City to a 19-18 win over Miami (APP) at Academia de Prospecto Complex. Brad Meyer hit a three-run home run off Konoye Murakami in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jimmy Serna in the 6th, singled in the 8th, walked in the 9th and flied out in the 10th. In 84 games Meyer is hitting .276 this season with 85 hits, 23 home runs, 68 RBIs, 52 walks, .397 OBP and has scored 70 runs. |
