Thompson Shines in 5-0 Gem Thursday, September 8th , 2050 Pulaski Yankees hurler Brendan Thompson logged a 6-hit, complete game shutout over the Orioles, stopping them 5-0 at Calfee Park today. "I felt great out there," Thompson said in his postgame interview. "After the second or third inning, I got real comfortable. Hopefully this is a building block for me. I'd love a few more starts like this." He rung up 11 strikeouts and gave up 1 walk in the performance. In 8 starts this season Thompson has crafted a 10-1 record with a 1.41 ERA. |
