3 Home Runs for Northam Friday, September 23rd , 2050 The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Dave Northam did today at Baseball City Complex, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 19-13. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Northam said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Princeton Rays first baseman blistered the Baltimore (APP) Orioles for 3 hits, batted in 4 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Baltimore (APP) manager Ralph Clum said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Dave Northam hit a solo-shot off Gerardo Sanchez in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Gerardo Sanchez in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Gerardo Sanchez in the 4th, flied out in the 4th and walked in the 6th. Northam currently has a .345 batting average with 154 hits, 36 homers, 115 RBIs, 116 runs scored and a .465 OBP. |
