Smith Named NL Batter of the Month Saturday, October 1st , 2050 Terrell Smith of the Miami (APP) Marlins stood out at the plate during September. The 21-year-old right fielder manhandled National League pitchers by batting .500 and was named the Batter of the Month. Smith collected 49 hits with 22 home runs, 59 RBIs and scored 38 times. This year Smith is batting .379 with 141 hits and 40 home runs. He has scored 98 times and has batted in 125 runs. |
