Arellano NL's Best of the Week Monday, October 3rd , 2050 Armando Arellano must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .520 clip, then the Billings right fielder finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the NL Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Arellano batted .520 (13-for-25) with 4 home runs and 12 RBIs. So far this season Arellano is hitting .369 with 10 home runs, 36 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has 41 hits in 111 at-bats and a .478 OBP. |
