Davis 5-for-5 Against Orem Monday, October 10th , 2050 5 times is the charm -- at least for D.J. Davis. The Oakland (APP) Athletics second baseman tore up the Orem Owlz to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Juan Marichal Complex today. The offensive onslaught from Davis powered the Athletics to a 4-0 win. "Davis was a tough out today," Orem manager Grady Wells said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." D.J. Davis singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Davis is presently hitting at a .285 pace with 9 home runs, 39 RBIs and has scored 102 times. |
