Livas Stretches Hit String to 20

Carlos Livas has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 23-year-old Texas (APP) Rangers first baseman extended his streak today to 20 games, going 3-for-6 as Texas (APP) got the best of the Elizabethton Twins at Joe O'Brien Field, 23-0.
"Carlos has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Rangers manager Dylan Moore said. Carlos Livas flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 8th and walked in the 9th.
Currently Livas is batting .429 with 48 hits and 5 home runs. He has knocked in 15 runs and scored 32 times.
