Super Week for Kingsport's Callahan! Monday, October 17th , 2050 Sam Callahan demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the National League Player of the Week Award. The Kingsport third baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .640 average (16-for-25) with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. To date this season Callahan is hitting .350 with 27 home runs. |
