Mets Dominate, Sweep Wildcards Series Monday, October 31st , 2050 It was a sweet sweep for the Kingsport Mets as they eased past the Grand Junction Rockies to advance to the Division Series . Kingsport won the final game by a 11-7 count and the series 4-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Sam Callahan, who was named series MVP. For the series, Callahan hit .588 with a .650 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Division Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcards Series finishes. |
