Kingsport Third Baseman NL's Best Batter in October Tuesday, November 1st , 2050 Even though he is a newcomer to Appalachian League, Sam Callahan put up some good numbers in October and earned the NL Batter of the Month award. He was one of Kingsport's offensive leaders with a .427 average in 19 games. He also racked up 6 home runs, 19 RBIs, and 30 runs scored. This season Callahan is batting .348 with 188 hits, 30 home runs, 93 RBIs, 115 walks, .473 OBP and has scored 169 runs. He has played in 143 games. |
