Giants Win Division Series Friday, November 11th , 2050 The Division Series didn't live up to the billing from those who thought it would be an all-out battle to the last game. But the San Francisco (APP) Giants are no doubt pleased by the results, as they have knocked out the Philadelphia (APP) Phillies 4-1 to advance to the Conference Series. "It doesn't matter how you win it, as long as you win it and get yourself moving forward," said Giants second baseman Malik Sharpless. "I know a lot of people thought this was going to be a really tight series the whole way through, but we're glad it didn't go right down to the wire." San Francisco (APP) won the final game by a score of 15-1 at Philadelphia Phillies Complex. Sharpless was named series MVP after hitting .500 with a .556 on-base percentage. He also had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 9 runs. The Conference Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
