Division Series Goes the Distance, Texas (APP) Prevails Sunday, November 13th , 2050 The Texas (APP) Rangers and Bluefield Blue Jays didn't hold back anything in the Division Series , with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the Conference Series. Texas (APP) won the final game by a score of 8-5 at Bowen Field and that concluded the series, 4-3. "Relief is the biggest thing," Texas (APP) first baseman Carlos Livas said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and Bluefield deserves credit for the hard fight." Livas paced the Texas (APP) offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .429 with a .636 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 2 RBI and scored 8 runs. The Conference Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
