Rentz Hits 3 Homers Saturday, November 19th , 2050 Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Mariners-Rangers game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball. Seattle (APP) catcher Josh Rentz thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Seattle (APP) to a 23-1 win over Texas (APP). "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Rentz said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Rentz was 3-for-4 on the day with 4 runs batted in. Josh Rentz grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jorge Burruel in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Javier Chavez in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Al Nava in the 8th. |
