2050 #1 Player Chosen By NL Saturday, December 17th , 2050 The manager of the Miami (APP) Marlins said he thinks Emmet Brickowski is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 22, but it will be hard to top the second baseman's 2050 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the National League Most Valuable Player Award. His winning campaign featured a .362 batting average and a .486 on-base percentage this year. In 140 games he piled up 193 hits, 28 doubles, 8 triples, 80 home runs, 189 RBIs and 194 runs scored. He received 29 first place votes out of a possible 30. Juan Ayala of the Bristol Pirates finished second in voting, while Mario Molina of the Philadelphia (APP) Phillies finished third.
