SP Galindo Inks $32,500,000 Deal with Seattle

Andres Galindo inked his signature on the dotted line this afternoon, making Seattle fans very happy indeed. A young man loaded with talent has a tendency to capture the hearts and minds of a city very quickly.
He handled himself with poise during today's media scrum, and many local sportswriters like what he adds to the team.

It's Official: RP Profanter Signs with Boston

But the signing came at too high a price, say longtime fans who think the club is too focused on players whose prime years have passed them by.

Seattle, RF Stinson Come to Agreement

Surprising some observers, the Seattle Mariners announced the signing of 37-year-old Rich Stinson today. The contract runs for 1 year and is valued at $2,750,000.
Stinson was described as an "elder statesman" by club officials and former teammates, who apparently expect him to contribute as much in the clubhouse as he does on the field.
Lifetime Stinson is batting .253 and has hit 76 home runs.
