Rockies Lose Luckwell for 3 Weeks Thursday, August 25th , 2050 It took the Colorado team doctor a while to realize it, but left fielder Jerry Luckwell won't simply play through hamstring tendinitis after he got hurt running the bases in today's Dodgers-Rockies game. At first, it looked like Luckwell might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 3 weeks. Presently Luckwell is hitting .267 with 27 home runs and 62 RBIs. He has played in 114 games and scored 71 times. |
