Expos Not Competitive in 13-0 Loss to New York
Friday, September 30th , 2050
In an outstanding mound performance, New York Yankees starter Andres Galindo fired a complete-game shutout against the Montreal Expos at Quebecor Stadium today.
Galindo was the key to the Yankees's 13-0 win. The 26-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 4 hits and 2 walks he allowed.
"4 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout."
So far this season Galindo has a 9-15 record, 32 starts, 173.2 innings, 184 strikeouts and a 5.18 ERA.
