Players Suspended in Pirates-Brewers Donnybrook Saturday, October 1st , 2050 If there wasn't a history between Jason Moss of Pittsburgh and Mike Moffett of Milwaukee, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 2 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Moss said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." So far this year Moss has 14 home runs and a .230 batting average. To date this year Moffett has compiled a 4-9 mark with a 4.21 ERA in 23 starts. |
