Zach Ault Records 300th Save, Tames California 6-4 Sunday, October 2nd , 2050 "I tried to approach this game like it was just another day, but when I walked out there on the mound, it was different," said Toronto star reliever Zach Ault. "I'm supposed to have ice water in my veins, but not today. It felt like my first day on the mound in my rookie season." It certainly was different. Ault was about to try for his milestone 300-th career save and put his name in the record book. As he has endless times before, Ault rose to the occasion and disposed of the California Angels to save the Blue Jays 6-4 victory, allowing no runs and no hits in 1 innings of work.
