Gervasi Voted October's Rookie Trophy Tuesday, November 1st , 2050 Rice University's John Gervasi collected 30 hits to snare the Dvision 1 Rookie of the Month for October. He batted .337 with 9 home runs, 21 RBIs and 25 runs scored. The 17-year-old is barely old enough to shave, but he could definitely contend for Rookie of the Year if he keeps up this pace. Presently Gervasi is batting .331 with 18 home runs and 61 RBIs. He has played in 64 games and scored 55 times. |
