Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Carrillo Sunday, December 25th , 2050 Santiago Carrillo went 2-for-5 in the 6-2 Clemson University Tigers victory over the Pennsylvania State University Nittany Lions at Doug Kingsmore Stadium today. Carrillo declined to speak to reporters following the game. He extended his hitting streak to 20 games. Santiago Carrillo singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jon Mullins in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. This year Carrillo is hitting at a .323 pace with 17 home runs and 59 RBIs. He has played in 107 games and scored 56 times. |
