Buckeyes End Carrillo's Streak Tuesday, December 27th , 2050 Santiago Carrillo of the Clemson University Tigers came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 1 at-bat for the first time in 21 games. Making matters even worse for the first baseman, Clemson University dropped the game to the Ohio State University Buckeyes 8-4. "It was not a good day today," Carrillo told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." This season Carrillo is batting .323 with 17 home runs. |
