Abdul-Muta'al and Sax Fight, Get Suspended Wednesday, August 31st , 2050 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's York-New Jersey contest at Revolution Field. The Revolution Avicenna Abdul-Muta'al and the Devils Matthew Sax will have to sit out 6 and 12 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season Abdul-Muta'al has hit at a .233 clip with 52 RBIs, 22 home runs and 30 runs scored. He has played in 53 games. On his stats sheet for the year Sax shows a 7-4 record, 15 starts, 106.1 innings, 122 strikeouts and a 2.71 ERA. |
