The Dominican Republic star stroked another base hit to break a tie with Chaim Huting and claim the top spot on the single-season hits leaderboard. It was hit number 19 for Pacheco. "I don't go out to set records," said Pacheco. "I just try to play hard and let the chips fall where they may." Jose Pacheco flied out in the 1st and doubled in the 3rd.
