No Easy Feat: Pitcher Wins WBC Most Valuable Player

At a time when many players are entering the twilight of their professional careers, Jesus Fernandez of the Mexico is seemingly getting stronger.

He turned in a dominant campaign in 2048 and has been named the winner of the World Baseball Championship Most Valuable Player.

"I'm just happy to be able to stay healthy and stay on the field to help my team win," he said.
