Sal Rivera put on a hitting clinic today as the Boston (APP) Red Sox dumped the Pulaski Yankees 24-0 at Calfee Park.

The Boston (APP) left fielder made Pulaski defenders earn their pay, lashing Pulaski pitching for 5 hits in 7 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Rivera said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Sal Rivera flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Eric Patrick in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Jessie Neal in the 9th.
