NL Awards Most Valuable Player Award, Alvizo Gets Prize
Monday, December 11th , 2045
At the age of 21, Henry Alvizo of the Grand Junction Rockies could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2045 was good enough to win the second baseman the National League Most Valuable Player Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .461 batting average this year, as well as a .592 on-base percentage. He played 135 games and racked up 270 hits, 42 doubles, 5 triples, 99 home runs, 293 RBIs and 340 runs scored.
He received 21 first place votes out of a possible 30. Isaiah Brockman of the Miami (APP) Marlins finished second in voting, while Jaden Mackey of the Grand Junction Rockies finished third with 5 first place votes.
