Royals Suffer 15-0 Drubbing from Blue Jays
|
It wasn't easy but Ron Kehoe made it look that way.
Kehoe silenced the Burlington Royals, 15-0, in a Bluefield Blue Jays triumph at Burlington Athletic Stadium today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Kehoe said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up no walks and 1 hit.
"It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."
To date this year Kehoe has saved 0 games while tossing 115 innings. He has a 3.91 ERA, fanned 134 batters and made no relief appearances.
