Hashimoto Cracks 5 Hits
5 times is the charm -- at least for Tomoya Hashimoto.

The Texas (APP) Rangers right fielder tore up the Pulaski Yankees to the tune of 5 hits in 8 at-bats at Calfee Park today. The offensive onslaught from Hashimoto powered the Rangers to a 37-0 win.

"Hashimoto was a tough out today," Pulaski manager Austin Hedges said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."

Tomoya Hashimoto flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Jessie Neal in the 7th, grounded out in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.

On the year Hashimoto has hit .356 with 19 home runs, 84 RBIs and scored 91 runs.
