Yokoyama Smacks 5 Hits for Pirates
It was a great day at the plate for Tomohiro Yokoyama. For his Bristol Pirates, the day was not nearly as good.

The left fielder collected 5 hits in 5 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The Miami (APP) Marlins snatched the victory, topping the Pirates by a score of 32-31.

"Well that wasn't how it was supposed to end," Yokoyama said later. "I'll just have to do it again and get it right."

Tomohiro Yokoyama hit an RBI double in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Chris Alft in the 7th and walked in the 8th.

Presently Yokoyama is hitting .348 with 17 home runs and 33 RBIs. He has played in 40 games and scored 67 times.
