Durgin on Fire: 5-for-6 for Miami (APP)
It seemed that Miami (APP) right fielder Adam Durgin could do no wrong as the Marlins KO'd the Nationals, 35-5 today. Durgin rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Nationals hurlers were throwing.

"I think the Marlins were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Washington (APP) fan after the game.

"I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Durgin in the postgame press interview.

Adam Durgin walked in a run in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Bobby Bricker in the 3rd, doubled in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Matt Norris in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, walked in the 8th and flied out in the 8th.

This season Durgin is hitting .410 with 121 hits, 43 home runs, 143 RBIs, scored 98 runs and played in 72 games.
