No matter what the Bristol Pirates threw at him today, Leo Serrano hit it. He easily handled Pirates pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Brewers to a 30-4 triumph at Kindrick Legion Field.

"The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of Serrano's quip, Pirates skipper said he "would take him up on that next time."

Leo Serrano singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, struck out in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, walked in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Joe Simanton in the 8th.

Serrano is hitting .462 this year with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .576, 7 walks and scored 15 times.
