Elizabethton Beats Orem 16-4, Drew Ks 15 Thursday, September 28th , 2045 Elizabethton Twins starter Kevin Drew brought his best stuff to Joe O'Brien Field today against the Orem Owlz, striking out 15 batters in his club's 16-4 victory. In a strong performance, the 22-year-old Drew gave up 5 hits in his 9 innings of work and issued 2 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my forkball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." Checking out his stats for the season, Drew has notched 5 wins and 7 losses in 26 starts, 4.51 ERA and struck out 145 batters in 135.2 innings. |
