Saturday, October 7th , 2045
In a game for the ages, Grand Junction Rockies left fielder Zack Guillen launched 4 home runs at Baseball City Complex against the Chicago (APP) Cubs.
Time after time, Guillen found his stroke against the shell-shocked Cubs pitching staff, finishing with 7 RBIs and scoring 5 times as the Rockies took the 29-2 victory.
"They pitch 'em and I hit 'em. I just did it a little better than them today," Guillen said to reporters after his historic game. "I won big today, but they might get me out 4 times tomorrow."
Zack Guillen hit a two-run home run off Carlos Zavala in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Dustin Goldsborough in the 3rd, walked in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Josh Burns in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Chris Stec in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
For the year Guillen has hit at a .414 clip with 128 RBIs, 46 home runs and 113 runs scored.
