Hit Streak Now at 30 for Baeza Wednesday, October 11th , 2045 Danny Baeza, second baseman for the Baltimore (APP) Orioles, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 30 games with 1 hit in his club's 14-5 victory today over the Cleveland (APP) Indians at Baseball City Complex today. "Not the outcome we wanted," Cleveland (APP) manager Joey Duff said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Danny Baeza singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, walked in the 6th and walked in the 7th. In his stats this season, Baeza has posted a batting average of .357 with 174 hits in 487 at-bats, 26 home runs and 129 RBIs. He has also scored 175 runs, walked 108 times and compiled a .489 OBP. |
