Huting Raps Greeneville for 5 Hits
Wednesday, October 11th , 2045
Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Chaim Huting of the Bluefield Blue Jays had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate today in the 28-5 win over the Greeneville Astros at Pioneer Park.
"I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 23-year-old right fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years."
Chaim Huting walked in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit a two-run triple in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off David Toellner in the 6th, walked in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
For the year Huting is batting .410 with 41 home runs, 153 RBIs and 149 runs scored.
