Hashimoto Batters Pulaski for 5 Hits Saturday, October 14th , 2045 It was a sensational day at the plate for Tomoya Hashimoto as he led the charge to a 27-0 win over the Yankees. The Texas (APP) right fielder was pure misery for the Pulaski pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 7 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Hashimoto put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Austin Hedges, manager for the Yankees, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Tomoya Hashimoto grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Bill Nguyen-Tan in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jessie Neal in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, walked in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. Presently Hashimoto is batting .372 with 180 hits and 32 home runs. He has knocked in 155 runs and scored 152 times. |
