Walter Torches Pirates for 5 Hits Saturday, October 14th , 2045 The Billings Mustangs upended the Bristol Pirates at Dehler Park today, thanks in large part to shortstop Tim Walter, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 5 hits in 7 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Mustangs to a 22-7 victory. Tim Walter struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. So far on the season Walter is hitting .347 with 11 home runs, 98 RBIs and 137 runs scored. He has 162 hits and played in 113 games. |
