Red-Hot Bat: MacConnell Collects Cycle Sunday, October 15th , 2045 Detroit (APP) first baseman Adam MacConnell had a stellar day today at Burlington Athletic Stadium. His 4-hit day included a cycle and 5 runs batted in and was instrumental in the 25-0 Tigers victory over the Burlington Royals. "I felt just about perfect up there," MacConnell said. Adam MacConnell walked in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, walked in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Neil Drain in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th and hit an RBI single in the 5th. MacConnell has a .356 average and a .487 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 141 hits, 28 home runs and driven in 96 runs. |
