Baeza Stretches Hit String to 31 Sunday, October 15th , 2045 The Baltimore (APP) Orioles stopped the Boston (APP) Red Sox today 12-3 and Danny Baeza collected a base hit yet again. The Baltimore (APP) second baseman finished with 1 hit to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 31. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Baeza told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Danny Baeza walked in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, walked in the 5th, grounded out in the 5th and struck out in the 8th. For the year Baeza is hitting .357 with 26 home runs. His stats include 129 RBI and 177 runs scored. |
