Moorehead Bashes 5 Base Hits Wednesday, October 18th , 2045 The Kingsport Mets tripped up the Bristol Pirates 23-0 today. The Mets were led by Jeremy Moorehead, their 21-year-old left fielder. Moorehead made life miserable for Bristol pitchers all day, tagging them for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. Jeremy Moorehead grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 2nd, walked in a run in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, tripled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. Thus far this year Moorehead has hit .327 with 7 home runs and 96 RBIs. |
