It's Over: Mustangs Stop Santor Friday, October 20th , 2045 All good things must come to an end -- and so it was today for Bobby Santor as he saw his 27-game hitting streak end. He went hitless in 4 at-bats at the hands of the Billings Mustangs. It wasn't all bad for the 22-year-old first baseman and the Grand Junction Rockies however, as they defeated Billings 12-10 at Dehler Park. When asked about his hitting streak, a smiling Santor laughed and said, "I guess my luck ran out today." Santor is presently hitting at a .468 pace with 67 home runs, 208 RBIs and has scored 198 times. |
