Brockman Hits in 25 Consecutive Games
Friday, October 20th , 2045
The Miami (APP) Marlins fell to the Missoula Osprey in Ogren Park at Allegiance Field today, even as 21-year-old first baseman Isaiah Brockman upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games. Brockman finished with 1 hit in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Marlins from dropping the 20-14 decision.
"Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Brockman. Isaiah Brockman struck out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, walked in the 8th and grounded out in the 8th.
Thus far this year Brockman is hitting .428 with 84 home runs, 293 RBIs and 256 runs scored.
