Joseph Belts 5 Hits Monday, October 23rd , 2045 Aaron Joseph exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Lindquist Field. The San Diego (APP) left fielder had a field day in the 19-10 triumph over the Ogden Raptors, finishing 5-for-7. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Joseph must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Aaron Joseph hit a solo-shot off Gary Salazar in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. This season Joseph is batting .355 with 14 home runs. He has scored 163 runs and driven in 137. |
