Rays Prevail, as Wildcards Series Goes to the Wire Saturday, November 4th , 2045 It took a while, but the Princeton Rays finally disposed of the Baltimore (APP) Orioles 5-2 in the series clincher at Baseball City Complex. Winning the finale gave the Rays the series, 4-3. They will now advance to the Division Series . The Most Valuable Player Award went to Princeton shortstop Sesto Carpini. He batted .379 in the series, collecting 11 RBIs and scoring 8 runs. The Division Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcards Series finishes. |
